Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated an ability to provide support and guidance to children, adolescents and families I serve. I’ve accumulated valuable hands-on experience in many facets of social work as demonstrated by the following accomplishments:

  • Collaborate weekly with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) consisting of Aubin Center medical professionals, DCYF, Attorney General Office, Office of the Child Advocate, Day One and various local police to review and problem solve high end and near death fatality cases
  • Engaged in direct clinical practice in various settings such schools, out patient, hospitals and community based services to children, youth and families with mental health and behavioral challenges
  • Partnered with Rhode Island College School of Social Work Program to provide undergraduate and graduate students direct clinical supervision weekly who are placed in field placements during the academic year in addition to adjunct teaching
  • Created an updated process to receive medical records from Bradley Hospital and Hasbro Hospital to assist with referrals for children in need of out of home placement
  • Participate in monthly high level discussions to problem solve and navigate the many barriers of youth who need long term residential placement in and out of state
  • Supported the first development of the Annual Reunification Day at DCYF that began June 2023 and that was recognized by the Governor

My credentials, track record and various social work experience all demonstrate my unwavering dedication to children and their families. I truly love helping people overcome seemingly insurmountable predicaments, and it would be my honor to continue doing so in this capacity.
